I finally went to the Thirsty Parrot and I had dinner with Gustavo and Gerardo (DJ Chip) and it was great! We had the Fat Tuesday frozen drinks:
Berry Berry and Hurricane - Gustavo got Pina Colada
The place has a really cool theme - very Caribbean, very beachy...
The salad was excellent! It has lettuce, black beans (my fave) corn, tomatoes, black olives, and freshly shaved parm on top - it didn't even need dressing!
Word to the wise - this is NOT gringo salsa...it is H O T! And oh so good!
I got the tequila lime shrimp - it was good! Gustavo got the lobster crisp, which was also very tasty!
All in all, it was a great experiance - the service was good, and the drinks were yummy! The food was really good, too...Stay tuned for more!
