FROZEN FRUITS 2 SWEETEN YOUR FRIDAY

When it comes to creating fantastic summer snacks, it's time to think inside the box—the ice box! Some of your favorite fresh fruits make surprisingly tasty frozen treats. Try a few!

Bananas: These are always loved frozen because they take on an ice cream-like texture. Just peel, slice and freeze!
Strawberries: To make them easier to pop in your mouth, clean and hull the strawberries before freezing. 
Kiwifruit: Peel and slice before freezing. 
Oranges: Cut into quarters before freezing. If you wish, wrap in plastic wrap to make them easier to handle. 
Grapes: Just wash and freeze. For a cool and low-cal movie treat, hide a baggie of frozen grapes in your purse. Don't worry, I won't tell.

Ahh baseball season...I LOVE baseball season! Notice I said "baseball season" and not "baseball" all by itself...the sport bores me, to be frank - unless it's a good game. What I love is going to the park, being in the park...and (dare I say it?) STADIUM FOOD.

What's not to love about hot dogs - no - chili dogs with extra cheese, french fries (cheese optional, but preferred) and a pint or two (or three?) of cold draught beer to wash it all down. Don't forget there are brownies and apple pie a la mode and cotton candy for dessert...YUMM

BUT, all that stuff costs you, ya know? Er, me ok, us! Is it worth the splurge? I say yes, but what do you think? An article from iVillage.com could help you sort things out...

We're all but 2 weeks away from summer 2008! This year seems to be flying by so fast...the kiddos are about to get out of school, the heat is coming - grill season, vacation season, bugs, lemonade and popsicles by the beach...aaahhhh

I don't know how many of you read my blog: www.mynparty.blogspot.com, but I've been promoting Sanctuary Day Spa quite a lot lately - I want to get the word out on the wire that I am officially the spa director/manager! If you're in town or know people that are coming down, you should/they should come see us!

We're located in the Promadande Plaza of Bella Sirena - shop #104. Stop by for a menu and to see the facility on your next trip down. You need to pamper yourself at least once while you're here - you owe it to yourself! We offer a full range of spa services: facials, body treatments, massages, waxing, nail care, and med-spa services! 

Our proprietor, Esperanza Mendoza, has been in the business for 34 years, licensed for 28, and has a degree in cosmetology and esthetics. She is opening up a top ranked cosmetology school here in Rocky Point as well.
