ARIZONA HOSTS CAMP EQUALITY 2008 - HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN

This year, Arizona will be a key state for elections up and down the ballot. Victories will bring our community another step forward to passing important legislation. With the possibility of a mean-spirited and divisive ballot measure this November to define marriage as between one man and one woman, it is even more important for our community to step up and get involved.
The Human Rights Campaign will be on the campaign trail every step of the way – and we want you to be a part of it, too. That’s why we’re holding Camp EqualityTM – a weekend-long training session to develop and hone campaign skills – in Phoenix on May 9-11.
Whether you are just getting involved in the electoral process or are a campaign professional, Camp EqualityTM can help you learn how to become more effective at advocating your causes and your candidates. We will offer two training tracks...

PRESENTING BOO BAR WEEKENDS

We're finally recovered from the Superbowl and ready to hit the town this weekend - the BooBar is kicking it up a notch - here's what they're serving up:

FEARLESS FRIDAYS - watch the Suns whoop the "Super" Sonics and then rock out (no Kent, not naked) with the FEARLESS JUANZITOS from 8:30 till they close 'em down!

CHILL OUT SATURDAYS - sleep in, and come on back for lunch every Saturday at 2:00pm, Joaquin Santana will be feeding us with his musical genious strumming everything from Santana to Aerosmith! Also, b.ball highlights and golf will be on the big screens...

If you're in town, you DO NOT want to miss Sunset Cantina's NEW YEAR'S bash! End 2007 the right way - with free bubbly at 12, appy's and stuff to get the party going, a DJ to keep you dancing...it's gonna be a beautiful thing.

She called us last week to let us know that she's in town, resting at her house, and that she is healing! She's not up for visits right now, but we will keep you posted on the latest later!

TASTE OF PENASCO!

We are so sad that we missed the Taste of Penasco...we heard it was windy, but everyone had a blast! We also hear that KENT COSSEY got auctioned off for $500 bucks and he got to spend the evening with BOOBAR RANDY and MIKE DANZER! Can't wait to see the pics of THIS one! hahaha
