ROCKY POINT WEEKEND EVENTS

There is an Iron Chef Competition on Friday the 28th at 1PM at the Sonoran Sky Ocean View Restaurant.

Restaurants in the running: Max’s Café, Hacienda Las Fuentes, Puesta del Sol, & Ocean View Seafood & Steakhouse. Come on out and observe the chefs in action as they prepare an appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert with a secret seafood ingredient which will be judged by our own Jonni Francis & Audrey Anguiano and 2 other judges.

Criteria to be judged: presentation, taste, aroma, and creativity. The 2009 Puerto Peñasco Iron Chef will be honored at the Taste of Peñasco on Saturday.

UNCOMMON WOMEN ON COMMON GROUND SEPTEMBER EVENT AT OCEANVIEW

Hello ladies – one last reminder of our evening event Tuesday, September 9^th beginning at 5:30 PM at the Ocean View Seafood & Steak House Restaurant at the Sonoran Sky Resort.  Come and enjoy an evening with wonderful hors d’ouevres and a cash bar right on the water.  Edgar Padilla has a special evening planned for us as we network, building new relationships and have fun together.

 

Rosie Glover will be asking you to commit to a date for our painting event and have the opportunity to support this community project Eloy Gonzales is working on to help beautify our city.  Bring your calendar and let’s get it done!

 

As I will be out of town for this event celebrating our 25^th wedding anniversary embarking on an exciting Mediterranean cruise have fun for me!

ROCKY POINT UNCOMMON WOMEN ON COMMON GROUND SEPTEMBER MEETING

Hello ladies – a month as already passed, summer is starting to leave us and time for another evening together with our Uncommon Women on Common Ground on Tuesday, September 9th beginning at 5:30 PM at the Oceanview Restaurant located in the lovely Sonoran Sky Condominiums in Sandy Beach.

Edgar Padilla has invited us to enjoy his beautiful restaurant right on the beautiful beaches of the Sea of Cortez for hors d’ouevres and a cash bar for our monthly gathering of networking, building relationships, community and as always, having fun together.

Also, Rosie Glover is working on gathering the last update from Eloy Gonzalez on the Anti-Graffiti Campaign. Our goal is to pick a date and just get to doing what we set out to do…paint some walls and help clean up our city. I should have something to you this week.

Let us know if you will be able to join us this month for another evening together in a perfect setting…
