ASTEROID HITTING EARTH! DID YOU HEAR??

As I was surfing through cyberspace (do they even call it that anymore?) I came across this:

Wednesday's Buzz You Missed by Molly McCall
2 hours ago Wed, 16 Apr 2008 16:45:10 PDT

In today's round-up of some of the hottest stories in Buzz, the "NASA boy" is proved wrong, some Chinese Web users express their national pride, and a popular HBO actress reveals her health struggles...
NASA sets the record straightIt read like a space-age tale of David and Goliath. An enterprising 13-year-old German boy recalculates the likelihood of an
asteroid hitting Earth, alerts NASA, and the big American space agency acknowledges he's right. Only problem? It's not true.
Officials from both NASA and the European Space Agency have
refuted the account, which sped across the Web at the speed of light. The young man's asteroid-strike numbers were not correct and the U.S. space agency has not, repeat has not, changed its mind about the 1-in-45,000 chance that the hurtling hunk of rock will collide with our planet. (The student thought it was a 1-in-450 chance. Yikes!)
Unfortunately, all this came out after articles on the teen's statistical success soared in Buzz, and even made it to the Yahoo! front page. Lookups for "
apophis," the asteroid in question, surged into the top hourly searches.
Some Chinese Web users have had enough...click

24 THINGS TO DO FOR A BETTER YEAR!

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, my purpose is to __________ today.
4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.
6. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

7. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
8. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
9. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

10. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
11. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
12. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
13. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
14. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
15. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

16. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'
17. Forgive everyone for everything.

18. What other people think of you is none of your business.
19. GOD heals almost everything.
20. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
21. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
22. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

23. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for __________. Today I accomplished _________.
24. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

As we cruised down Benito Juarez a little bit ago, we saw the makings of Penasco's own Domino's Pizza! It looks like they still have a couple weeks before the opening...Yes folks, delivery pizza has arrived...wonder what will be next: KFC or McDonald's???

IT IS FALSE!

HaHa...check this out:

There are no Starbucks, no restaurants, and it's the coldest place on the planet. Antarctica has no indigenous inhabitants aside from the penguins, and the population is around 4,000 (in the summer).

We're going to go back to work now...

A LITTLE WEIRD...

We just found this by pure boredom...we ARE NOT saying it's true...it just made us think...

From: (Dean Lenort)
Date: Mon, 20 Apr 1998 08:51:38 GMT

Message-ID: I just learned that Pepsico has paid NASA millions of dollars to fly anAnimal 57 on this space shuttle mission to learn whether the Animal 57 canthrive in space. In addition to the crickets, rats, and fish that the crew talks aboutdaily, there is also a top secret Animal 57 that is being closely monitoredfor overall health and growth. Apparently, Pepsico wants to get in on theground floor when the time comes for moving fast food to the next level.Whether it's a Taco Bell on Mars or a Burger King in low Earth orbit,Pepsico wants to capitalize on this relatively untapped market. With therecent opening of a KFC (right next to the Starbucks) in Antarctica thereare few markets left for the expansion juggernaut and space is simply rifewith opportunity. However, the rumors that there will be a fast food court on theInternational Space Station are without merit.--Dean

WHAT A SWEET STORY!

Click here to read a touching story of true love.

FUNNY FORWARD...

Birds of a feather flock together and crap on your car.

When I'm feeling down, I like to whistle. It makes the neighbor's dog run to the end of his chain and gag himself.

A penny saved is a government oversight.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

He who hesitates is probably right.

Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are " XL."

If you think there is good in everybody, you haven't met everybody.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "Theirs."

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up, or leaks.

One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young.

Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable. First you forget names, then you forget faces Then you forget to pull up your zipper. It's worse when you forget to pull it down.

Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft. Today, it's called golf.

ROCKY POINT REAL ESTATE UPDATE

As you all know, Rocky Point continues to grow year after year. In 2005 it was number one in foreign Real Estate investment in all of Mexico and in 2006 it was number 3. Currently there is a Coastal Highway that is under construction slated for completion in 4th quarter 2008 making it only a five hour drive from Southern California and the International Airport is also under construction with delivery of the first terminal planned to be completed by summer of next year. Those two factors alone will open Penasco to the rest of the world.

Although we are directly effected by that market in Arizona, this will be the last buyer's market for a long time. With the extensive infrastructure and services being brought here, we will soon see people from everywhere wanting a piece of this paradise! There are SO many great investment deals to be had out there - it's the perfect time to start looking for YOUR Rocky Point investment!

Check out
my website for some awesome deals!

PUERTA PRIVADA ON SANDY BEACH

Here are some deals and downright steals at Puerto Penasco's ONLY non-rental resort:

EAST BUILDING

404 - two bedroom, two bath partially furnished to give you a good base to start from - $549,900
707 - two bedroom, two bath partially furnished with fabulous views - $559,900
701 - three bedroom, two bath FULLY furnished unit with custom painting and fantastic views - $869,900 **Best priced 3 bedroom at Puerta Privada**

WEST BUILDING

402 - two bed, two bath unfurnished unit - never been lived in! Get in at $118 down - priced at $549,000!
905 - two bedroom, two bath fantastic views of the city lights! $539,900 **Best price in the entire resort**
1008 - two bedroom, two bath, unfurnished - the perfect canvas to create your masterpiece! $539,900
708 - two bed, two bath, fully furnished - turnkey! awesome views, but still private for $599,900

These prices are the reflection of only a few investors needing to get some cash flow back into play. This creates a great buyer's market that you can still get in on. This is the last market we will see like this due to the influx of California residents looking for a better beach home investment, and with 50 million baby boomers retiring over the next few years, Mexico is the #1 spot to invest in right now! Unlike Cabo and Cancun, Puerto Penasco will always be a drive to destination. The highway linking us to San Diego (making it under 5 hours) has less than 20 miles in the middle to go before it's completion, which is slated for this year's end.

MORE PARTY LINKS!

Check out www.fack.us and http://eventoelixir.spaces.live.com for even more info and pics!

NEW ROCKY POINT RESTAURANT

Look out Rocky Point - there's a new game in town...S.W.I.M is at Bella Sirena - the sexy pool side lounge over filling the shoes of what was there before them, S.W.I.M brings originality, (try the quesadillas with chicken, goat cheese, and roasted red peppers) variety (different music sets every hour or so) and a rockin good vibe (think upbeat staff and rounds passed around from time to time) together under one roof - er - sky, at Bella Sirena's new poolside lounge.

Open everyday except Wednesday - see you there!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

It might be a little late, but today is our birthday!! Join all of us at Capone's tonight at 8:00 for drinks and pizza!

Spread the word...

SANCTUARY SPA at BELLA SIRENA

A new spa is here to stay! Sanctuary at Bella Sirena is an experiance like none other we've had! From the very beginning, the welcome we received was so warm and comforting - it made us feel right at home! We were whisked to the facial room where we got the renewal facial from the gentlest hands ever. Such care was taken to make us comfortable during the treatment...then we went onto the next stage of our spa experiance. The body treatments. Consisting of the detoxifying body scrub with salts from the dead sea, a marine algae body wrap and 30 minutes of paraffin therapy - we were almost drooling, and definately sleeping! All the products used are 100% certified organic, which makes for a total in touch with nature experiance. We walked out smelling like the sweetest, richest oils and our skin felt like a baby's behind!

The whole concept of Sanctuary itself is a mix of the old world european feel of Bella Sirena and a beachy bungalow hideout, complete with thatched-like palapa ceiling coverings. The music itself is dreamy, too. In the facial room it was a soft symphony of french horns and flutes playing a continual lullaby. In the body treatment session, clarinets and strings coupled with jungle like sounds to create the perfect vibe for the place I was in - somewhere between awake and dreamland.

The attentiveness of all the Sanctuary staff is incredible. They make you feel like you are the only person in the place the whole time, we were totally comfortable and will definately go back. Very soon. You should check them out, too! Services range from the extravagant organic body treatments to massages of all types, facials galore, and hand and foot care.

If you want rejuvination with 5 star service, Sanctuary is the place to go!
**For a limited time, they are offering 2 for 1 massages!***

SPRING BREAK UPDATE!

Megan Finnerty said it right when she wrote this article about one particular person on spring break here in Rocky Point...

"There was nothing shocking about spring break in Rocky Point.
Of course, I saw men and women making out; women making out with women; people bonging beers; people falling down drunk in the street; people puking; couples dirty dancing; women doing body shots; men fighting; women exposing themselves..."

PLAYA AZUL CORRECTION

We just got off the phone with Linda Young, an angry investor in the Playa Azul project on North Beach. She expressly explained to us that NONE of the North Beach investors got a penny of their money back from the developers and the letter we received from the developers about them giving 85% of investors money back is false...

We will research this more and give you an update as we get more information. We apologize to whomever we might have offended by any of our previous posts regarding this matter. We only post what we are aware of, and the information we receive.

Stay tuned for more info...
