Realtors have to remember, however, what most retailers already know -- competing on price alone is for suckers. Start offering sellers lower commissions and you are setting yourself up for a world of hurt, both in the short-term and well into the future. Once you establish a reputation as the "cheapest agent on the block," turning that around later can be nearly impossible.
Instead of competing by offering lower commissions, find something else to compete on -- quality service, experience, and know-how. Adjust your marketing materials to highlight current market conditions and your unique ability to sell homes in a down market...

INTRODUCING: ROCKY POINT ADOPTIONS
I'm a new mom to 3 furry kittens. Ray found them abandon about 10 days old. So far they're doing well. They're on a bottle feeding schedule every 3 to four hours. And at night, they only about 3am. I use a syringe with one, Ray feeds the two other with the bottle of special high protein formula. One's name is Ernie, the other Dottie and the other Little One.
The vet will take them up for adoption next week. We're going to try to get them on canned cat food really soon! Dr Rincon, the MX vet is very nice. He is loaning us a large cage to keep them in. Does anyone want one, they're quite cute and healthy.

ROCKY POINT'S OTHER MARINA...
We received this info this morning:
Cholla Bay Marina STOPPED! April 7th, 2008 The Federal Environmental Authorities (SEMARNAT) in Sonora determined that the construction of the Sandy Beach Marina on top of Estero La Cholla was not viable due to the potential environmental damage it could cause. This controversial project threatened the integrity of the Upper Gulf Biosphere Reserve and the productivity of this wetland. Estero La Cholla, along with the other wetlands in this region, is of great importance for the health of the Sea of Cortés, as it is a nursery for several marine species such as shrimp, flounder and blue crab. Also, its nutrient contribution to the Gulf of California represents the base of the food web, making this place one of the five most diverse ecosystems in the world...(for the whole enchilada, email us, and we'll fwd it to you: mynparty@yahoo.com.mx)
We're glad - we live in a world of dwindling resources as it is - we don't need to plow through anything else that we don't absolutely have to! Maybe they will increase the size of the marina we already have!
