As this week is coming to a much anticipated end, we want to take a minute to acknowledge Randy, the former keeper of the BooBar. We are honoring him this Friday night @ the Boo! We expect to see ALL of you out to say goodbye!

Rocky Point is about to raise it's standard as a Beach Destination. Thanks to "Sandy's Beach Cleaning" we are finally going to have beaches that are pristine, as they should be. Many other self-respecting beachfront communities have this service. Since the Beach is what brings in tourism and investment it only makes sense to keep it clean and safe!

Some good things are a cookin' in town in the culinary world:

Fruteria Sinaloa on Sinaloa and Miguel Hidalgo is open for biz - I went the other day and got 5 bags stuffed with veggies, fruits, and nuts for $250 pesos! It's oh-so-much better than going to Super Ley!

Speaking of that, we hear a SuperVal is going to be opened on Beinto Juarez, as you're going out of town. Can't wait!

In the meat department, SuKarne is THE place to buy meat. They have chicken, beef, and pork. they also have Monterrey Jack cheese! Huge bags of chicken breasts are about 9 bucks and there are 20 or so. The arrechera is excellent, too. Check it out!

As we were coming back from Phoenix, there was a check point by the Marines on both sides of the highway, a little less than half-way to Rocky Point. The officer said that the military is going to start doing routine checks to make sure the road from Rocky Point to the border is the safest it can be!

Also, there is a detour in Sonoyta to get to the border. They are fixing the road!

There is also a girl that teaches Tae-Bo if you're interested in that, as well. What a fun and different way to work out and get in shape. The classes are all small, and she is a certified pilates in structor who has been doing pilates for about 6 years.
