CHRISTMAS IS UPON US...

Hey everyone! it's that time of the year again...the weather is getting chilly - er, well, cloudy and cool-errr...anyway, it's time to help the less fortunate. I know you may be excited to do all your Christmas shopping and to get to the states for egg nog and things like that, but we need to think of our other "local" family - those in need.

Yvette MacKenzie from ReMax sent us this flyer and email letting us know what they're doing to make a difference this holiday season:

Hello Friends, Family & Clients,

Grant and I are very involved with this great cause on December 16th to feed the less fortunate for the Christmas Holiday. We are working with an incredible group of people within the community and are all very excited and eager to make this successful. We will be delivering food, toys, and warmth to over 1,000 people that live in very bad conditions. In the past years that the church has done this…there has never been enough to go around. We want to make sure that this will not happen again!!

We are asking for your help. Please see below and help us make this successful! A $10 donation will feed an entire family for the holidays…and more will allow us to purchase toys for these unfortunate children. Please donate what you can.

Please feel free to pass this on to friends…..

Blessings to all,

Yvette MacKenzie

The Christmas Season brings us many opportunities to give to those that have very little. Right now in
Puerto Penasco there are so many families that will have a hard time feeding their children and
trying to stay warm - let alone thinking about providing anything special to their little ones over the holidays.

We know that if we can get a donation from the many people that have visited, invested or live and
work in Rocky Point, we will be able to bring an enormous smile, some warmer nights and fewer
hungry days to a great deal of less fortunate children and families in our small town.

We need to collect all donations very quickly in order to meet our delivery date in mid-December, so
we are asking that donations be made as soon as possible. If you are not in town, please mail your check
today as directed below or if you are in Rocky Point you can drop off a check or cash donation at one of
the locations listed below.

Volunteers – yes, we are also looking for as many of you as possible to donate some of your time to help
prepare the stockings and food baskets, as well as distribute the “gifts of joy” on December 16th. Please
let us know via a response to this email if you are available for any of the event preparation or for the actual
distribution of gifts and we will let you know how you can help!
