-The US State Department issued a warning about the voilence in Mexico - it says there were 128 American deaths in Mexico between January 2005 and December 2007.
-In LA county alone, there have been 103 deaths in the last 6 months and in 2007, there were a total of 324.
It goes on to talk about how Felipe Calderon, the president of Mexico is facing the issue of corrupt policemen head on by testing the issued guns of the officers, lie detector tests, and other screenings, the honest policeman returned to work.
