SOMETHIN GOOD FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Rocky Point's graffiti clean up organization held a meeting las Thursday at the Chamber of Commerce down town...Rosie Glover translated, and I'm waiting on the results of the meeting! I'm sure it was a success...check back for updates on this here in a few.

Here's the initial email about the meeting:

I think that we probably have all noticed that lately the graffiti problem has gotten much worse in Rocky Point. To address this problem, Eloy Gonzalez has put together an Anti-Graffiti strategy.

Other than just focusing on the problem, Eloy is doing a great job of looking for solutions. All interested parties are encouraged to attend a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, at CANACO (the Chamber of Commerce office behind the park on Fremont & Benito Juarez ). Representatives of the Mayor's office will be there, as will several of the civic organizations and television, radio, and print media. The meeting is scheduled for 7pm.

There will be a translator and everyone is encouraged to attend.

I appreciate you getting this out to everyone on your mailing list. I look forward to seeing a good turnout tomorrow!

P.S. Eloy Gonzalez can be reached at eloy_glez_glez@hotmail.com
