I don't know why I haven't blogged about the Teleton, the largest charity event that goes on here in Mexico in December - I think it might be over, but you can still donate on their website: http://www2.teleton.org.mx/evento-teleton/Here's the general idea of the great things that the Teleton does:
"Telethon is a project of national unity, which, through the values like love, generosity and solidarity, has managed to summon all of Mexico with the firm intention of promoting a better quality of life for children and youth with disabilities.
Teleton represents an opportunity to renew confidence in people and in institutions, symbolizes the unity and commitment of various sectors of society around this social cause."
So far, they've raised $442,974,150 pesos!
