"AZTEC" BY GARY JENNINGS

I'm LOVING "Aztec" right now...It was a hard one to get into (for me) but I'm loving it...I'd give you spoilers, but that's no fun...you should go out and get this book. If you are living in Mexico - anywhere, really - this will give you a huge insight to how this land was before it was "New Spain" or eventually Mexico...I'm just blown away by this non-fiction book that has been SO well researched, and thought through - it is as if it really happened. I wonder if there is a movie about it? There should be...

If you EVER get the slightest chance to travel to/farther south to the state of Mexico, it is a MUST that you go visit Teotihuacan (teh oh tee wa kan) just outside of Mexico City. I went there several years ago with Gustavo, and I felt such a connect with these people while I was there - it was like going back in time. What an experiance. It is one I will not soon forget! 

I get all wrapped up in my in-the-moment things, so forgive my over zealousness in blogging about this book till I finish it!
