There will be a silent auction to benifit the animal shelter's needs for food, etc. And three weeks from now THE THIRSTY PARROT hosts THE UNCOMMON WOMEN and we have good interest in the event.
So far, we have donated a pedicure, massage, four books written by one of our own, a CD by a local artist, a necklace, dinner for four, a huge bottle of wine AND WE HOPE MORE.
Let me know as soon as you can what you might donate to auction on so that I pass it on the Cathi, and she can prepare the auction sheet.
The Thirsty Parrot will be hosting free margaritas (water and /or juices for the non drinkers). We will also have a no host full bar. Several appetizers will be offered from 5:30 to 6:30 and then a very special dinner served beginning at 6:30. Please come hungry. The only cost to you will be $5 per person to cover the cost of the dinner, which will be all you can eat (AND dessert).
Mark your calenders and, please RSVP when you know you are coming.
